Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 Part 2 (6)

The Plan must show how we are tackling inequality and socio-economic disadvantage and the improvement actions we are taking to make that difference.

The document sets out eight Outcomes that we will achieve by 2027.  The improvement actions to deliver on these Outcomes are drawn from the wide range of Strategies and Action Plans currently in place.

The Local Outcomes Improvement Plan is attached here, along with detailed Appendices that provide the background evidence to the identification of the Outcomes. The first Annual Report 2017/2018 was agreed by the Board in November 2018. It shows good progress in the eight outcomes.

Locality Plan

The Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 Part 2 (10) requires Dumfries and Galloway Community Planning Partnership to prepare and publish a Locality Plan that sets out what we want to achieve for a particular community of less than 30,000 people.

Following detailed discussion, a Locality Plan on food sharing was agreed. This looks at the places where food sharing takes place and the people who participate.

The Locality Plan is attached here and includes background evidence to the identification of the Outcomes. The first Annual Report 2017/2018 was agreed by the Board in November 2018. It shows good progress in the four outcomes.
